Little Artist Workshop (Series)

A cozy little artist workshop filled with colorful supplies, easels, and creative artwork in progress.

The Little Artist Workshops are a series of art experiences that will introduce pre-K artists (ages 4-5) to different art techniques and mediums. Artists will have the opportunity to meet different masters from art history, dabble in STEAM, learn classical art techniques, and get inspired by the world around them, all while building a growth mindset in a process-based art environment. Each workshop will feature a different art project and parents/caregivers can either drop off their artist or stay to watch them create.

The series includes all four sessions at a discounted price.

10/2- In the Tall Tall Grass- Artists will create a large portrait of nature filled with critters tucked behind the tall, tall grass.

10/9- Meet the Master: Chagall- After learning about Marc Chagall and studying his dream-like paintings, artists will create their own dreamscape paintings, using a palette of either warm or cool colors.

10/16- Building Bridges- Diving into some STEAM concepts, participants will be challenged to build bridges out of recycled materials and test their structures to see how much weight they can hold.

10/23- Eat and Draw- Artists will learn basic sketching techniques by building a still life together using fruits and vegetables and then drawing it. When they are finished with their artwork, they can enjoy eating their creation as well!
