Plein Air at the Stone Bridge!

Join us Sunday, November 10th from noon to 3 pm to paint en plein air. (or draw, sketch, chalk,…). We’ll meet at the Stone Bridge of Manassas Battlefield Park off Route 29. There’s a parking lot just off Rt29 and a short walk on a gravel path to the famous Stone Bridge where you can paint the bridge, water, or trees. While it’s traditional to paint early morning or late afternoon for the best lighting, it will still be November and likely chilly. 🙁 That’s why we’ll meet at noon for some solar warmth.
This is a FREE event, but register if you plan to attend. That way we’ll have your email in case we need to cancel/reschedule due to weather or other unforeseen emergencies. We’re out to have fun and make memories, not prove how tough we are. 😉
Do dress in layers and bring something to drink. And, of course, bring your art supplies!
Afterward, we’ll admire each other’s work and, if you like, gather at Bull Run Winery (about .25 miles away) for fellowship and a pint or glass.
