Eligibility and Fees
o $30 submission fee, if you are not a member.
o If you are a CAA member, no entry fee is required.
o CAA retains a 30% commission on sold artwork, with 15% going to the Town of Haymarket.
o Artists may list approved submissions as “Not for Sale” (NFS).
Entries
o Limit of 3 entries per artist.
o All submissions must be family friendly.
o Dimensions must reflect framed size. The longest side may not exceed 24 inches.
Submission Process
1. Complete the submission form.
2. Upload digital (JPG files) images of your artwork.
Digital Image Guidelines (JPG Files)
o 2D Art: Submit 1 JPG per entry.
o 3D Art: Submit up to 3 JPGs per entry to show multiple angles.
o Images should clearly show the artwork without added backgrounds, mats, or frames.
o Each JPG must be under 5 MB. To check file size, right-click the file and select Get Info (Mac) or Properties (Windows).
o Label files as follows: LastnameFirstname_Title_Medium (e.g., "SmithJohn_Sunset_Oil"). If files are not labeled correctly, your application will be marked incomplete.
Sales and Artwork Handling
o Artists will receive commission checks after the show has closed.
o Artwork left in the gallery for over 30 days, after three contact attempts, will be considered a donation to CAA.
